About the California National Party

The California National Party (CNP) is a progressive political movement founded in 2015 to represent the unique needs, values, and priorities of Californians. Tired of being sidelined by a dysfunctional federal system, we offer a California-centric alternative focused on local control, social democracy, and civic nationalism. Inspired by successful international models, the CNP believes that California - already a global economic and cultural leader - should govern itself through peaceful, democratic, and constitutional means, free from U.S. interference and influence.
